This album has both stereo and a 5.1 multichannel mixes, originally released as a hybrid multichannel SACD that was instantly recognized for its pure DSD analog like sound and feel. Recognized with its release in 2003 by the Surround Music Association, "The Window" continues to be a comfy, pristine recording featuring an ensemble of Boulder and Denver bluegrass legends accompanying David in these live studio takes.

DSD Mixes and mastering made no use of any effects or compression. There are no edits or overdubs here, just the live studio performance captured in 2.8mHz, 1 bit Pure DSD.
